On Saturday, February 28, 2026, Veterans’ House Canada – Edmonton held its inaugural Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser walk.

The evening was a remarkable success. With an initial fundraising goal of $20,000, the event far exceeded expectations, raising over $57,00. This outstanding achievement speaks volumes about the compassion and dedication of the Edmonton community in ensuring that Veterans have access to safe, stable housing and ongoing support.

As an organization rooted in service to Veterans, we are deeply grateful for partners, serving CAF members, and leaders who walked alongside us.

The Coldest Night of the Year will return each year to help provide sustainable funding and support for the future veteran residents at the Edmonton home.
