Sponsoring Community and Social Interaction In the New Veterans’ House in Edmonton
Our friends and project managers at EllisDon Community Builders (EDCB) have made an incredibly generous sponsorship of $15,000 toward the new Veterans’ House Edmonton Communal outdoor barbecue tables.

We’re thrilled to share exciting news for the ongoing building project, Veterans’ House – Edmonton.
Our friends and project managers at EllisDon Community Builders (EDCB) have made an incredibly generous sponsorship of $15,000 toward the new Veterans’ House Edmonton Communal outdoor barbecue tables.
Community is at the heart of every Veterans’ House home, and we couldn’t be more excited to see EllisDon Community Builders direct its support toward this special space. Inspired by the outdoor communal area at our Ottawa residence, Edmonton’s new and updated outdoor space will be much more than an aesthetic feature. It will become a welcoming place for sharing conversations during events, enjoying summer meals from the barbecue, and building connections that lead to greater satisfaction and improved mental well-being.
This gift comes in addition to the beautifully engraved shovel presented by Nick Gefucia, Senior Vice President of EDCB, and his team during our Groundbreaking Ceremony, a gesture that perfectly captured the spirit of partnership and support for Veterans.
“EDCB has been a fantastic partner throughout this journey, and we’re proud to continue building on this relationship as Veterans’ House Canada expands its mission and support across the country.” Alan Mulawyshyn, Executive Director, Veterans’ House Canada
(Quote from EDCB here about their commitment to VHC)
With the right support and encouragement, our future Veteran residents can overcome challenges, manage depression and PTSD symptoms, gain control over addictions, and celebrate their successes along the way.
Our sincere appreciation to the entire EllisDon Community Builders team for their extensive support as we deliver these 40 new residences in Edmonton, directly providing affordable, supportive, and permanent housing for Veterans experiencing homelessness in Edmonton.
