Radio Campaign

A moving radio campaign from Veterans’ House Canada – “No one should be on a clock to get help.”

 With its new national radio campaign, Veterans’ House Canada (VHC) delivers a powerful message rooted in honesty and compassion. Centered around a simple but profound truth – no one should be on a clock to get help – the campaign sheds light on the urgent reality of homeless veterans across Canada.

Rather than relying on elaborate sound design or heavy narration, a single, heartfelt voice tells the story:

“No one should be on a clock to get help. But too many veterans face challenges alone – on the street, in unsafe conditions, without a safe place to call home.”

That voice is followed by a message of hope – Veterans’ House Canada’s commitment to building its first Edmonton home, providing permanent, affordable, and supportive housing for homeless veterans across western Canada.

The take-away for Canadians;

“Veterans are more than twice as likely to experience homelessness. To help the heroes who served, text VETERAN to 30333 or visit veteranshousecanada.ca to make hope possible today.”

This conscious creative choice mirrors the dignity and respect owed to those who served – avoiding dramatization, focusing instead on authenticity. The result is a campaign that goes straight to the heart.

“Our Veterans have given so much for this country. This campaign is about giving back with compassion and purpose,” says Stéphane Guy, National Operations Manager at Veterans’ House Canada. “Every message, every donation helps us build permanent homes for those who once served us all.”

Running across radio, digital audio, and social media, the campaign aims to raise awareness and mobilize Canadians to take action for a mission that cannot wait.
